Andrew studied Technical Mechanical Production Engineering at York, starting work initially in Engineering, and then construction, before moving into manufacturing. With 30 years' experience in trading sales and manufacture, Andrew also sits on the AIC trade body Board, and is a member of the AIC Feed Materials Select Committee.
As Chief Executive of BATA, covering Fuel Feed and Retail Stores, Andrew is also Managing Director of Wm Thompson (York) Ltd, a BATA subsidiary, specialising in multi species Animal Feed Manufacture.
Trevor graduated from the Queen’s University Belfast in 1992 with an Honors Degree in Agriculture. After working with Masstock Inc. in Georgia USA Trevor returned to Northern Ireland to join the Ulster Farmers’ Union.
John has grown up within a farming family and studied Agriculture at Harper Adams Agricultural College gaining NDA and AMBA qualifications. He worked for BOCM Silcock/Pauls for 25 years and moved to South West Lancashire Farmers in October 1999.
Colin has spent his working life within the agricultural industry, working for four international companies at various management levels. Colin joined Tarff Valley Ltd in 1992.
Gordon is from a Northumbrian farming family and studied agricultural marketing at Newcastle University gaining an honors degree in 1980. He worked for UAM/BOCM in various positions for 20 years and joined Clynderwen and Cardiganshire Farmers in 2003.
Jonathan has been involved in the agricultural industry for over 26 years. Originally from New Zealand, he qualified with a diploma in farm management and proceeded into share milking where he became owner of a large dairy herd. Over the past 22 years he has worked within various sectors in the UK, involved with manufacture, retail and veterinary pharmaceuticals. Jonathan joined United Farmers in January 2008.
