Ashley Handy

Project & Marketing Manager

For enquiries on our own Country UF products, the UF Learning Platform, training and various projects organised under the UF umbrella, especially those driven by the MSBT teams.

Ashley worked with the National Farmers Union of Scotland for over ten years before joining United Farmers in 2014.

Her favourite things to do away from work involve walking the dogs, socialising with friends, reading a good book and watching Glasgow Rangers.

Diane McDonald

PA to the Chief Executive

For UF events and conferences, MSBT meetings, Board Meetings and all business communication to members and suppliers.

Joined UF in March 2024. Previously had been working as an Office Manager and providing project support within the tidal energy sector for over 5 years.

Having studied art and design, in her free time Diane enjoys tapestry, trips to the cinema, visiting art galleries and spending time with family and friends.

Jonathan Robinson

Involved in the agricultural industry for over 36 years, starting his career in New Zealand dairy farming then travelling to the UK, he has taken up many roles within agricultural businesses within the UK including working for De Laval, Norbrook Pharmaceuticals GB, Ritchey and currently since 2008 has been CEO of United Farmers Ltd.

Michelle Kyle

Admin & Accounts

For enquiries on credit control and rebates.

Previously worked as an office admin in a scaffolding company and before that run an office in an event company.

Spends free time raising kids, studying for a uni degree and spending time up at her parents, who live on a farm. Michelle enjoys walking her dog, hill walking and watching a crime documentary.

Joined UF in July 2020 having previously worked for The National Trust for Scotland, Trainline and the Muir Group.

A keen mountaineer, trail runner and cyclist who when not adventuring enjoys family life in the Scottish Borders with his partner and young son.
