Trevor graduated from the Queen’s University Belfast in 1992 with an Honors Degree in Agriculture. After working with Masstock Inc. in Georgia USA Trevor returned to Northern Ireland to join the Ulster Farmers’ Union.

Trevor was appointed to the board of UF in 2010 becoming Vice Chairman in 2011 and then elected Chairman in 2015, a position he has held ever since.
