Geoff studied agricultural merchanting at Berkshire College of agriculture.  In 1976 he started working in the family business J S Hubbuck Ltd alongside his father and brother and became chairman in 1998.

Geoff also farms cattle and sheep of his own and is on the AHDA Council.
