Jonathan has been involved in the agricultural industry for over 36 years. Starting his career in New Zealand dairy farming, he gained knowledge and expertise working on various sized dairy units over a 5 year period during which he qualified with a diploma in farm management and share milked his own 160 cow dairy herd.

Then travelling to the UK and taking up residence in 1988, he has taken up many roles within agricultural businesses within the UK including working for De Laval (milking machines design, specification, pricing and installation), General Manager of an independent agricultural supply business, General Manager of Norbrook Pharmaceuticals GB, Sales Director of Ritchey and currently since 2008 has been CEO of United Farmers Ltd in the UK.
